How it works

Most of the kits that we hire out are nice and easy to set up and require no previous knowledge of the equipment that we provide. We are also available on the phone if you need any help and we will give friendly advice.

Here are the 8 simple steps to using our service:

Step 1 - Decide what kit you need hire

Have a look at the various kits that we offer in order to give you some ideas for your party or event. We are more than happy to have a chat on the phone and we can advise as to what size kit will suit your venue best. At this point we will give you an accurate quote for the hire of the kit, inkling along with the deposit that we will take.

Step 2 - Book the equipment

Whilst we have a large stock of equipment for hire, it is a good idea to book the kit well in advance. Either give us a call or send us an E mail and we will let you know whether the equipment you need is available for hire for your event. Whilst we like some notice, we may well be able to send out equipment the same day!

Step 3 - Payment for hire and deposit 

About 10 days before the big day we will take payment for the hire and deposit. Payment can be made by bank transfer, Paypal, credit card payment over the phone or cheque. 

Step 4 - We send you the kit.

We prepare your kit and pack it up in a box and send it to you by courier. We use a very reliable courier company that will send you a text message giving you an hour slot when they expect to deliver the kit to you. We aim to get the kit to you 3 days before the event. 

Step 5 - Have a great party!

We hope that you will be delighted with the equipment that we have provided and that you will join our increasing list of happy customers. 

Step 6 - Pack up the equipment

In the kit, we will include all you need to pack up the equipment so that it comes back to us untangled and undamaged. For exanple we will include cable ties and electrical tape for pea light canopies. Please take care to follow the packing instructions.

Step 7 - Courier collects the kit

We will get the courier to collect the equipment from you. We will have included the return label in the box that we sent you. The courier will collect the kit on the date that we have arranged which will normally be the next working day after the event. The courier company will send you a text message indicating when they will arrive.

Step 8 - Deposit refunded

The vast majority of the time we are able to refund the deposit in full but occasionally things get damaged. You will find that we are very reasonable in these circumstance and we will only charge you what it costs us to replace any damaged equipment.
